The Story Behind the Bread

Hi, I’m Bree—founder, baker, and heart behind Loaf & Soul | Breads and Bakes.


What started as a simple love for sourdough in my cozy Valley East kitchen turned into something bigger: a micro-bakery rooted in connection, craft, and comfort. I believe bread should be more than just food—it should feel like home.

It means more than I can say that you chose to bring home something baked from my little oven. I hope your loaf, treat, or bake brings you warmth, joy, and maybe even a little nostalgia. Each one is handcrafted with love, using simple, quality ingredients and slow, intentional methods.
